Our Accountability

wE’RE HERE FOR HERITAGE AND HISTORY

Preservation Partners was founded in 1974 as Restorations of Kane County (RKC). This grassroots organization was founded:

“to foster an awareness and appreciation of landmarks, buildings, monuments, documents and property of historical importance to Kane County, Illinois, and to engage in and seek the preservation, authentic restoration, and protection of these, and to promote their use for educational purposes.”
- RKC’s Articles of Incorporation, 1974

Since then, Preservation Partners has grown and continues to grow, our efforts focused on the preservation of our local heritage through its buildings, artifacts and monuments. We are dedicated to our members and friends—our partners—who have contributed so much to make this organization what it is. We are always looking for new ways to further our mission and are forever making the best effort toward improvement both with our programming and our operations. To that end, the Board of Directors of Preservation Partners has engaged outside legal counsel to consult the Board on the health of the organization and to assist us as we continue to grow.

Preservation Partners of the Fox Valley is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) is 23-7421954.
