With a treasure map in hand, explore Colonel George and Nelle Fabyan’s former estate, Riverbank (now the Fabyan Forest Preserve). Solve clues and riddles to find the “treasure” Colonel Fabyan has hidden on the property!
We’ll meet at the Fabyan Villa Museum and the treasure hunt is outdoors, so dress for the weather, and bring your walking shoes. The Villa is approximately 1/2 mile from the parking lot (see parking location and map here). Expect to walk about another mile throughout the preserve to solve all the clues. The treasure hunt is ideal for families or couples. All children must be supervised.
The Fabyan Villa Museum is operated by Preservation Partners of the Fox Valley through a contractual agreement with the Forest Preserve District of Kane County.
