EXPERIENCE THE HOLIDAYS BY CANDLELIGHT
Cherish the sounds of holiday music, the scent of fresh-cut evergreens, the warmth of a glowing fire, the flicker of candlelight, and the flavor of old-fashioned treats as your family strolls through the home and meets adult and junior docents dressed in period clothing in the 1843 Durant-Peterson House.
Also visit the 1872 Sholes School for a traditional Christmas Pageant at 2:30 PM, 3:15 PM, 4:30 PM, or 5:15 PM. Each show is about 20 minutes and seating is limited.
Tickets are $5/Adult and $1/child. Entry times are at half-hour intervals at the Durant-Peterson House Museum to ease congestion. Tickets include entry to the Sholes School Museum which you may visit before or after the Durant-Peterson House.

At the 1843 Durant-Peterson House…
Step back in time and enjoy the hearth's warm glow, music in the parlor, old-fashioned ginger cake and candy, and the fragrance of evergreens in every nook. Take in a simpler time and some of our favorite things.
At the 1872 Sholes School…
Relive a traditional Christmas Pageant at 2:30 PM, 3:15 PM, 4:30 PM, or 5:15 PM. Each show is approximately 20 minutes. Seating is first come-first serve and is limited.
Entry to both museums is included with your ticket. You may visit the School before or after the House.
NOTE: Entry times are at half-hour intervals to ease congestion. Your visit can extend longer than the half-hour interval you select. The house is the least crowded during the pageants at the school.
