Who was Nelle Fabyan?

While we know quite a bit about her husband, Colonel George Fabyan, little has been remembered about Nelle Fabyan. Her recently restored couture Parisian gown, designed by French designer Georges Doeuillet, has been on display at the Fabyan Villa since April 2026. While it makes it easier to visualize the woman who wore it, we still didn’t know much about her—until recently.
