Who was Nelle Fabyan?

While we know quite a bit about her husband, Colonel George Fabyan, Nelle Fabyan’s life has remained somewhat mysterious. As of April 2026, her restored Parisian couture gown, designed by famous French designer Georges Doeuillet, was put on display at the Fabyan Villa. While it brings a personal touch to the museum, there is so much more to the person than her gown.
