NELLE FABYAN’S COUTURE PARISIAN GOWN

UNVEILING APRIL, 2026

After years of fundraising and meticulous conservation, a couture gown for Nelle Fabyan from 1910, designed by famed Parisian fashion designer Georges Doeuillet, will go on display at the Fabyan Villa Museum.

Only 6 museums in the world, such as the Louvre in Paris and the MET in New York, have one of Deouillet’s garments.

One of those museums is now in Geneva, Illinois!

A Preview Day of the gown BEFORE the Fabyan Villa Museum opens to the public will also be held on Saturday, April 25 (tickets available soon).

Then, the gown will go on display as a regular exhibit in the museum on May 2, 2026.
